DRS Birthday Creations Challenge

Today begins the 18th DRS Designs blog challenge! This time around the DT was challenged to make birthday creations. DRS has a TON of birthday sentiments and in the last couple of months have come out with a ton of very cool images suitable for birthdays! We would love for you to play along in our challenge. I know I am always looking for birthday creation ideas so come on, play along & post a direct link to your birthday creation on the DRS Designs 18th Challenge post and you'll enter yourself into a blog candy drawing for some birthday related blog candy!!! If you upload to a public gallery, please use the keyword DRSC18.

Here's my Birthday Party set, complete with a Party Hat Table Favor Box (filled with candy of course!), Birthday card, and Gift Bag.

I'm showing off Leonard...again, on this birthday card! His billboard reads "Happy Birthday!"

I colored him with pencils and blended the colors with Gamsol. I also put my sewing machine to work! Gotta love that zig-zag stitch!

And who doesn't love candy? What a cute way to decorate tables! I stamped this table favor box with the Birthday Multi Greeting stamp and created a ribbon pom-pom to stick out of the top. This would also be the perfect weight for a bunch of balloons and then raffled off to the attendees later in the party!

Lastly, we all know you can't go to a birthday party without a gift. Here's a coordinating gift bag perfect for a small gift, gift card or other goodies the birthday girl would like!

Stamps: DRS Designs- Leonard the Billboard, Hogwash Sentiment, Birthday Multi Greeting
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink, SU! Close To Cocoa
Paper: Smooth white cardstock by Office Depot, Colored Cardstock by The Paper Company and American Crafts
Accessories: Prismacolor Pencils, Gamsol, Martha Stewart Zig Zag Punch, Fiskars Apron Lace Border Punch, Plaid Ribbon unknown, brown ribbon by Offray, Brown Brad by Joann's Scrap Essentials, pink brads by Making Memories

What a great party set! The card is amazing on its own (love the stitching and color combo), but combine it with the fun party favor and gift bag -- wow!!
