The Circle challenge on the DRS Designs Blog this week is full of endless possibilities! Think circle-shaped stamps, die-cuts, embellishments, pattern designs etc.
Here's a cute CAS pocket card I made for the it using my plain and scalloped Circle Nestability dies.
It's difficult to see, but the pocket was embossed with hearts and then I embellished it with the Five Playing Cards (157D).
The pull-out portion was stamped with the Big Deal Birthday Greeting (852G) so that when it's in the pocket, the lower portion of the greeting is covered by the playing cards image. A red Copic Marker was used to fill in the heart and the diamond was paper pieced to make the "is" stand out.

This was made using DRS Designs 4 suits vertical (1134F) and the soon to be released Big Deal Birthday Greeting (852D). (Shhh, don't tell anyone I used it! *wink*) Then I used the ATC as a part of this card:

It's official...I've lost my mojo for layouts. I've tried designing new cards all day and I didn't like anything I came up with. I turned to the Splitcoast Stampers sketch challenges for inspiration.
I found the layout of sketch SC375 to look interesting--not too complicated and it worked well with the stamps I wanted to show off for today. Here's my take on this sketch...
I used DRS Designs new 4 in 1 Poker Suits stamp (1128D) to create my own background.The red suits were colored with Copic Markers. Isn't it perfect with the 5 cards (157D) image that I used as my focal image? The horizontal and vertical panels were embossed with the Swiss Dots embossing folder, but it's hard to see in the picture.
