Hi Everyone! Thanks for stopping by today!
Have you started stamping your Christmas cards yet? I've made a few, but not nearly as many as I need! I have a couple CAS ideas in mind that will be easy to mass produce, but I just need to find the time to sit down to stamp and assemble them. That darn clock is always against me! Thankfully, 80% of my shopping is done and wrapped! With that part almost complete, hopefully my cards will get in mail in a timely manner!
Today, I'm delighted to show off one of my holiday cards that features DRS Designs new Small Cardinal stamp (1050F). It will be available for purchase very soon. I colored it with Copic Markers and sponged light blue ink around it while it was in a Nestability die. Then it was matted with a red scalloped square.
For the background, I made my own coordinating paper by stamping the Large Stain Glass stamp(1133P). This is the first time I've used it as a background stamp. In the past I've always used it as part of my focal image by stamping the focal image right on top of it and then coloring the stained glass portion appropriately. I love the versatility of stamps like this one!
Finally, I added the matted Season's Greeting sentiment from the Line of Winter Trees stamps (537K) which I accented with a red brad on either side, and adhered with foam tape. Finished card size is 4.25" x 5.5."
I hope the Holidays are treating you well thus far!
Until next time...
Smiles,
Jennifer
