I'm still slowing going thru all of the cards I created while on my stamping girls weekend a month ago and for my post today I'm showing off another one.
I made this birthday card using the Single Balloon Postage Frame (039F) from DRS Designs. It's primary use is to dress up the front of a mailing envelope. You would stamp it in the right upper corner of the envelope and then place the postage stamp in the space where I've stamped the Tiny Happy Birthday Greeting (1081A). Instead, I've used it as the focal image on this card by stamping it repeatedly on different colored cardstock to create a bouquet of balloons. The background was created by sponging light blue ink and then using a cloud template to sponge the clouds with a darker blue ink. Different colored pieces of twine were perfect for the balloon strings.
Hope I've inspired you to think about your stamps in a way that you wouldn't ordinarily use them.
Have a great day!
Smiles,
Jennifer
