In the midst of cleaning up all of our holiday decorations yesterday, I did find a little bit of play time in my stamping room. It's been a long time since I've made use of all the wonderful sketch challenges out in blog land. Today's card uses this week's CPS sketch. It felt good to create with a sketch--I didn't have to think as hard when making this card! :-)
Here's the sketch design...
...and here's my card, "Walk On The Wild Side!"
This image was drawn by Dustin Pike and is available through DRS Designs. I love "Jimbo and the Gang," as it is appropriately titled--it's a great image to color, if you like to color! I colored it with Copic markers, and draped ribbon over the thin paper panels in the background to dress it up a bit. The sentiment is also by DRS Designs. I split it up again (yes, again!) to fit in the empty spaces on my card front. The entire sentiment actually reads, "It's your Birthday~ Walk on The Wild Side!"
Well, that's it for today...ta ta for now!
Smiles,
Jennifer
