From ATC to Greeting Card!

Remember the last blog challenge DRS Designs held a couple weeks ago? It was to make Artist Trading Cards, or ATC's.

This week, DRS Designs is challenging you to make a Greeting card using the ATC you made.

From this: My ATC-A Holiday Snowman

To this:
My greeting card-A Holiday Snowman in a Winter Wonderland!

If you need the details to see how I made my ATC, you can find them here on my previous blog post.

To create this card, I first created my card base from Red cardstock. Next I cut a white piece of cardstock slightly smaller than my card front. I then used light blue ink and inked the inside of my Snowflake Cuttlebug Embossing Folder. I put the white cardstock inside the folder and ran it through my Cuttlebug. This created the soft blue look of my snowflake background. I adhered it to the card front.

Next, I matted my ATC with dark blue cardstock and then again with red cardstock as shown. I adhered the matted ATC to the center of my card front.

As a final step, I added Stickles to all of the embossed snowflakes on the card front. I love the background! It really makes it look like my snowman is in a Winter Wonderland! I tried to capture the sparkle in this picture.

Stamps: DRS Designs- Simply a Snowman, Tiny Happy Holidays
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink-Azurite Blue and Warm Red
Paper: Smooth white cardstock by Office Depot, Colored Cardstock by Bazzill, and Paper Reflections
