Tomorrow, October 15th, is the big release day over at DRS Designs. They will have their new Christmas and Holiday stamps available for purchase and as soon as they are released you can see them all HERE. While working on Christmas cards for this release over the last week, I decided to use up the scraps of the Girl Swirl Holly (887G) background I made and used a piece of it to create this card.
The background was stamped randomly on Ivory cardstock and colored with Copic Markers. I used the Lingering Christmas Greeting (870H) as the focal point on this card, which is also part of this Christmas release. Isn't that text beautiful?!?!?! I think it really adds a lot of elegance to this card. Not sure how I came up with this layout, but I love it! The ripped ivory layer in the background helps to add the right amount of color to make the background and sentiment piece pop. This is one of my favorite Christmas cards thus far and because I like it so much, I might use this to mass produce the cards I send out this year. Hope this post doesn't spoil it for those who might receive it in the snail mail! *wink*
I hope you really like it too! Thanks for stopping by to see it!
Smiles,
Jennifer
