It's Your Birthday!

Happy New Year!

Well, just like that the holidays are gone! Now that the Christmas cards have all been made and sent, it's time to replenishing my birthday card stash to send out to family and friends this year.

This cute little fella is Jungle Jim the Elephant (K842) from DRS Designs.  He was drawn by Dustin Pike.  I colored him with Copic markers and used a Post It Note to shade the sky and grass around him.  I also used DRS Designs Easy Grass Background (E059) to add the grass blades to the shaded green area at this feet.

The sentiment I used on this card is Walk on the Wild Side (F935)--I cut it so that I could split up the lines.  I stamped the second half of the sentiment on the inside.  Being able to split up sentiments like this is one of my favorite parts of using unmounted rubber stamps--the versatility is endless and makes stampsing so much easier!

Thanks for visiting today!
I hope you have a wonderful holiday, and may you be blessed with peace, love, joy, and good health in the New Year.

Smiles,
Jennifer

So adorable. The colouring really jumps out at me and I thought it might be copics. In fact, I can't stop looking at your card because of the colouring.
